This Liberty University student was able to get her B.S in elementary education online but she never expected what happened next.
8 cheap, quick accredited online college courses in 1 month.
In this article we’ll be discussing how a student at Liberty University was able to complete eight college courses in just one months time. This student graduated from Liberty University online with a B.S. degree in elementary education and she is currently an elementary school teacher.
She went to college online for four years freshman through senior year and she has had a great experience. She says that online college comes with it’s challenges but it’s well worth it if you need the flexibility to work as well. She was able to live at home and save money on things like rent and food and she also had the ability to live life on her own terms.
Throughout her college career she received A’s and B’s so she was a really good student. But here’s where it gets interesting. Halfway through her senior year she was checking in on her college credits and she noticed she was way behind. She had never failed any classes or anything like that so it was really weird that she was so far behind.
Unfortunately, when she was looking at her course credit audit she found that she hadn;t taken any elective classes or any of the required extra classes needed to graduate. She had just been taking the classes that counted toward her major. And she said that it wasn’t really clear that she needed to do that, and as a first generation college student this was all new to her.
After speaking with a college counselor she realized that she wasn’t going to be able to graduate on time if she didn’t take eight classes and get them finished in six months. Taking all of those classes was going to be really hard because she would have to pay for them upfront, which would be really expensive and she had to work full-time so she didn’t have much time to take these classes.
So her college counselor recommended that she do something called Straighterline courses. Basically this is a credit transfer program that is accredited and many universities work with them, so you’ll have to see if your college or university does.
What happens is that you take courses through a straighterline and then you’re able to transfer your courses over to your university. She knew she had to do this to graduate even though she was allowed to walk for her graduation.
So after graduation she set out to complete all of her straighterline courses and she wanted to complete them in 1 month! In order to complete her goal she would wake up everyday at five in the morning and study for a quiz and then study more and then at the end of every week she would take a monitored exam. Working on a school schedule like that was seriously difficult but she needed to do it to complete her degree.
On the other hand if she decided to take all the classes at Liberty University, she would have need to spend an additional 6 months of time or more getting these classes done.
To conclude she is extremely happy that she was able to take the straighterline program at only $59 a course and $100 a month. She was incredibly happy that she got all of it done in one months time as well and she recommends that you check out straighterline if you are in a similar situation.
